Michael Henderson


Michael is a creative communications agency leader, brand steward, strategist and protector. His approach fuses modern communications strategy and commercial creativity into every client program, achieving measurable impact and commercial outcomes. He has deep insight, experience and expertise include Luxury, Technology, Automotive, Drinks, Food, Travel, Financial Services, Fintech, Retail, Telecommunications and Media. Michael’s best work comes from collaboration with client partners who trust, challenge and empower his team and agency.   

Agata Kenna

Founder and Managing Director

With over two decades experience (must have started in-utero) in the PR and Communications industry, Agata’s skills lie in developing creative and strategic communications solutions that deliver on key client needs and address business critical issues. Her approach is to always to seek out the road less travelled, the concept that breaks with conventions. Agata has worked across a wide range of sectors including aviation, banking & finance, FMCG, property/construction/real estate/infrastructure, logistics, retail, professional services, food/beverage/nutrition, consumer electronics, healthcare and not-for-profit. When not solving commercial challenges for clients in a communications capacity, Agata spends her time equally across her Pilates reformer machine trying to work off the daily 3pm chocolate bender and chasing after three glorious children. 

Kristen ‘KC’ Costandi

Chief Client Officer

As a seasoned corporate communications specialist, ‘KC’ has managed external and internal communications for global brands including Macquarie Bank, ING and Metlife. KC balances creative ideas with a healthy dose of reputation management – making sure campaigns are smart, thoughtful and always aligned with brand values and business objectives.    

And when she’s not wearing her corporate pants, you’ll find her popping and locking, crumping and flossing at her local hip-hop class.  

Laura Portch

Group Client Director

Creative curiosity is Laura’s MO, and ensures she always has an idea (or three) in her back pocket to collaborate and build on with client partners. Having nurtured her creative talent over the past 15 years in both the UK and Australia, and demonstrated a strength in producing award-winning campaigns, Laura has developed and executed insight-driven strategic, integrated and consumer-focused PR campaigns for major brands across a variety of sectors including; retail, technology, travel, home and interiors, as well FMCG, food and beverage, and alcohol.  


With places to call home around the world, from a life spent living in different countries, Laura loves nothing more than putting her perfectionist project management trait to task and planning the &*#! out of a weekend or week away, so she can soak up every drop of the area’s nature, culture, and cocktails.  

Luisa Gannon

Group Client Director

Luisa is a dynamic communications professional responsible for developing strategic, integrated campaigns that align with clients’ business goals. Alongside proactive campaigns that help build brand talkability, Luisa is also a fierce protector of her clients’ reputations, with an eye for issues mitigation and management.  


A natural communicator who gets things done, Luisa has experience across a range of sectors including technology, retail, automotive, luxury and finance from large multinational businesses to local start-ups. When she’s not communicating in a professional capacity, you’ll find her chatting to anyone and everyone, preferably over a Paloma!  

Alexis Carroll

Group Client Director

From commercial property to online trading and insects you can eat, Alexis works across a range of consumer and B2B sectors. With a heartland in financial services, she spends her time on the phone or at lunch with the likes of Duncan Hughes, Dave Rogers and Anthony Keane, brainstorming quirky campaign ideas.
Alexis oversees the day-to-day strategic direction of her accounts, with her eyes always on her clients’ business objectives and their specific market landscape. It’s also not uncommon for her friendly goats to Zoom-bomb a con call!

Sarah-Ann Taylor

Client Strategy Director

Passionate about cleverly and creatively connecting with consumers with an extensive track record in Sydney, London, Canada and South Africa. “Saz” has pioneered DEC PR’s proprietary strategy frameworks and has applied this to successfully ignite consumer interest, grow awareness, impact sales and carve out unique positions for global brands.

Ashleigh Manion

With more than 12 years experience in PR, Ashleigh is adept at helping brands navigate a changing consumer landscape. Nurturing a passion for the automotive and technology industries, she thrives on bringing to life communications campaigns for innovative organisations across these sectors.  
Ashleigh has experience leading accounts for local and global brands, including Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Aston Martin, McLaren Automotive, MG Motor Australia, Hisense, PlayStation, Leica Cameras and NETGEAR.
